Passport to Connecticut Libraries

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO BE THE TOP TRAVELER?!?

ABOUT THE PROGRAM:

The Connecticut Library Association’s Passport to Connecticut Libraries Program invites you to visit over one hundred participating Connecticut public libraries. Take the opportunity to explore each library’s architecture, ambiance, and collection. The program is open to adults and children, encouraging you to explore the many different libraries in Connecticut.

HOW IT WORKS:

• Starting April 1, 2026 visit us to pick up your Passport and receive your first stamp, along with a list of participating libraries, the rules sheet, and a small gift.
• See the list of participating libraries provided to you with your passport or visit https://www.facebook.com/passporttoctlibraries. 

VISIT SOME LIBRARIES!

Visit any participating library to have your passport stamped by a library employee and receive a token gift between April 1 and April 30.  (Not all libraries in the state are participating; not all participating libraries are giving gifts)

• Keep visiting and collecting stamps from participating libraries between April 1 and April 30.
• Return your passport to any participating library by May 11.

PRIZE DETAILS

To be eligible to win, you must visit at least five (5) participating libraries and participate in one of two age groups:

• Adult (18 and up)
• Child (under 18)

Each age group will have:

• “Top Traveler” for the person who visited the most participating libraries. A tie for top traveler will be broken by a random drawing.
• (3) Visa gift card winners: two (2) random drawings (one 25+ libraries visited and one 5+ libraries visited)
