Twice Read Booksale
So, you’ve seen the sign and wondered… What does this mean?
The Twice REaD Room is a used book sale operated by The Friends of Fairfield Public Library as a fundraiser for library programs. We offer gently-used books and DVDs in many categories: Adult fiction, nonfiction, children’s, and “coffee table”/specialty books. Items are available for purchase during regular library hours at the Main Library. We also offer special sales a few times during the year; watch for information in the library newsletter and on signs posted around the library.
Our book sale success depends on the generous donations from our community.
We can accept books and DVDs in good condition.
Old, damp or smelly items cannot be accepted.
Please, no textbooks, encyclopedias, magazines, cassettes, CDs, computer games, vinyl records, or out of date non-fiction, such as technical, law or medical information older than 6 years. No SAT, Test Prep or college guidebooks more than 4 years old. No travel guides more than 4 years old.
We can provide receipts for donations for tax purposes if needed. Please drop off donations to the front desk during library hours.
