The library offers ebooks, audiobooks, media and more to help you stay connected whether you’re staying in place, working from home or schooling remotely. We have digital media and online resources available to access for free from anywhere with your valid Fairfield Public Library card.

Exciting news!  You can now use your Freegal account to stream music for 24 hours a day!  The people at Freegal understand how much listening to your favorite music can help during this challenging time, and we thank them for this generous increase in daily streaming hours (up from 3 hours per day, until September 30th, 2020.

Hoonuit

Due to the overwhelmingly positive response and the continued need of our Library partners’ communities, Hoopla has extended the availability of the Hoopla Bonus Borrows Collection through May 31! Hoopla’s Bonus Borrows Collection now includes more than 1,500 titles – at no cost to Libraries, and using ZERO of their patrons’ monthly borrows.

Medici.tv

The world’s leading classical music streaming service is available until April 30, 2020.  For nearly 10 years, medici.tv has captured the performances of leading classical artists, ensembles, and orchestras in great concert halls, festivals, and competitions the world over. Medici.tv offers over 150 live performances throughout the year and the world’s largest VOD catalog of more than 1,800 videos.

RBdigital

Now get ebooks, audiobooks and popular magazine titles all in one place – from RBdigital, made available from the Fairfield Public Library and the CT State Library collection. Tutor.com

Expanded Tutor.com hours during stay at home. Monday-Friday, new opening hours are 8am-12am, and on weekends noon-12am. Please note these hours will be in effect through the end of June.

The K-12 Student Center, College Center and Adult Career Center from Tutor.com includes live, one-to-one tutoring, a real-time writing center and 24/7 access to worksheets, videos and tutorials in just about any subject. A live, online tutoring and resume writing service is also available.
