Anatomy: A Love Story takes place in 1817 in Edinburgh, following the story of Hazel Sinnett. Hazel’s deepest dream is to be a surgeon in a society where women belong in the house and as wives. In working to become a surgeon, she buys bodies from Jack Currer. Jack is a resurrection man trying to make ends meet in a cruel world. As Hazel continues to work on bodies to pass the medical examination, she also continues to make a deeper relationship with Jack. This leads the two to dig up graves and the secrets Edinburgh holds.
