The baby’s name was Alyssa Richardson, when the family came to retrieve Alyssa, they found her brutally murdered. The story touches on heavy topics such as racism and mental illness. The feeling and depth of Mary’s point of view make it a book worth reading. Along with the incredible perspective and heart-tugging story line, any reader will be incredibly engaged and want to know the ending.
