All the Lives We Never Lived by Anuradha Roy

I adored this book so much. It was a really interesting, stirring, and captivating read. It centers on a man’s connection with his mother, who was missing for the most of his childhood, as he looks back on his life growing up in India in the 1930s. I thought it was a really interesting book that was well written and had great historical involvement. I would definitely suggest it. I read this for the Watler Scott Prize longlist, and I’m so disappointed that it didn’t reach the shortlist because it deserved it so much!
