Teen Summer Challenge
June 20 – August 15, Registration starts May 18
Unearth a Story at the library this summer!
Read, attend events, and complete bonus activities to earn points and reach your goal! Use our Beanstack reading tracker to log your progress. Check the Badges area in your account to see point goals, bonus activities, and ways to stay engaged all summer. When you unlock a points badge, visit the library to add stickers to your tracker and collect milestone prizes!
Prizes for point badges along the way include a brag tag, Capybara pen, Geode Stone Pendant/Keychain, free book, yard flag, and if you reach the bonus 1,500 points level… a Capybara plushie!
As you complete badges, you will also earn bonus raffle tickets for our big finale prize raffles.

Visit Beanstack to register for the Challenge starting on May 18, 2026. Participants entering grade 6 and up may set up their own account. If you already have a Beanstack account just update your grade information and select the Teen Summer Challenge using the app or website.

Read anything to earn points for the challenge: fiction, non-fiction, graphic novels, manga, magazines, audiobooks, and don’t forget your school summer reading selection!
