Summary:  Leah Weiczynkowski has done it, she’s made it onto the Midwest Region’s Olympic Developmental Program’s soccer team.  All the hours of practice and the many hours her father spent driving her to practices and games are finally paying off.  However, Leah can’t enjoy the news because she just learned her father is dying from cancer.  Doctors give Leah’s father three months to live and in those three months Leah fights to come to terms with what is happening to her father, while questioning what might be her future in soccer. 

Who will like this book?:  Those who are drawn to realistically written emotional drama.  If you need a good cry, this is the book for you.
