Taxi Ghost is a graphic novel about a girl named Adele who lives in Montreal. She is on winter break from school and just wants to read and hang out with her friends. But after something happens to her, she starts to see ghosts.
Over the break, with the help of the ghosts, Adele and her neighbors learn that a developer is looking to buy up their block and rebuild. Together, they come up with a plan to try to stop it.
I recommend this book to people who like graphic novels. It moves quickly and keeps your attention. I found the topic of gentrification interesting because I see a lot of new development in our own town and it has a lot of impacts.
