Dear Mothman by Robin Gow

Noah, a young boy, is struggling with the loss of his friend. He uses his letters to Mothman to cope. He and his friend Lewis were both into cryptids, and these letters help him mourn and get over his loss. Gow is able to create an authentic feel towards the loss of a loved one, and mechanisms real people use to cope. Gow writes about finding a place in the world, and enjoying being around your support system. An interesting novel, that combines both cryptids, and acceptance.
