How Do I...

Fairfield Public Library welcomes suggestions by Fairfield residents for titles that are not currently available in the collection. The decision to purchase a book or any library item is based on the Library’s selection criteria and Collection Development policy. If the title you’re suggesting is an older item (published more than 3 years ago) or is of limited appeal to others in the community, we may submit an interlibrary loan request on your behalf.

Please check the catalog before submitting a request for purchase form. If you’re not sure whether the library already owns the title after checking the library’s catalog, please contact us.

• Only suggestions by Fairfield Public Library card holders will be considered.
• Please suggest published titles only.
• Purchases are limited to our approved vendors in accordance with the Library’s Collection Development policy.
• If your suggested item is purchased, a hold will be placed for you if possible.
• We are not able to place holds for you on digital content.

Please complete this form as thoroughly as possible.
