Main Library and Fairfield Woods Branch Library will be closed on Saturday, September 5, Sunday, September 6, and Monday, September 7.

Our regular hours resume on Tuesday, September 8: we will be open on Saturdays from 10am to 5pm and Sundays from 1pm to 5pm.

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the Fairfield Public Library! It is gratifying to see such a high level of support for our community.

We are currently at capacity for most of our volunteering programs. Participation tends to ebb and flow with the school year and the seasons. So I will keep your application on file and contact you when an opportunity comes up that matches your interests and schedule.

In the meantime, I hope you enjoy a good book!
