STEAM’D Kits
The STEAM’D Collection consists of nontraditional items that use Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics, and Design (STEAM’D) to focus on critical thinking and creative problem-solving. This is a changing and growing collection that aims to develop children’s fluency in building, coding, construction, logic, design, and other 21st-century skills. STEAM’D Kits may be checked out at the Children’s Desk for use at home or for use in the STEAM’D Room at the Main Library. STEAM’D kits circulate for a 1-week loan period and must be checked out on an adult library card.

Visit our Kiwanis Parent-Teacher Room at the Main Library for books and periodicals dedicated to parenting and education and a large Special Education Parent Teacher Association (SEPTA) collection.
