A new writers group is forming in June. Writers interested in meeting on Mondays from 11am to 12:30 pm twice a month are invited. Meeting dates will be the 1st and 3rd Mondays.

Facilitator

The facilitator for the Monday group will be Deb Owens. Ms Owens graduated magna cum laude from Dartmouth College (as an English major), and cum laude from Harvard Law School. In the legal profession she specialized in research and writing for large litigation cases. Most recently, she has been a freelance writer and editor for a number of local publications and is currently the editor of Fairfield Magazine. She is working on a number of fiction and non-fiction projects and look forward to getting inspired by a writing group.

Writers

Writers who are interested in participating must commit:

• To participate actively at each meeting
• To write for each meeting and be ready to read
• To provide constructive criticism of the works of each other
• To suggest exercises/programs for the group
