We have a summer full of fun for all ages!
Build a Better World at the Fairfield Public Library
Are you prepared for the challenge? Of course, you are! All you have to do is read some great books and visit the Library for some extra fun during the “Build a Better World” Summer Reading Program. Once school is out, the games, raffles and summer activities start. Learn more about the Children’s Library Summer Reading Program.
Visit the Children’s Summer Reading Program webpage for more details and information.
Teen Summer Challenge
School is almost out, and it is time to get ready for the annual Teen Summer Challenge. The Challenge is not just about reading, it is about discovering, creating, doing and volunteering. Register online at http://fplteens.ning.com and set up an account. Starting June 15, you can begin logging points by reading, watching movies, sharing recipes, creative writing, volunteering and creating art.
Books, Sunshine, and Prizes!
Join us for 6 weeks of Adult Summer Reading fun beginning June 30th through August 11th. Pick up a great summer read or participate in our “Literary Superlatives” program and check out a book, cover concealed, based on its literary superlative or favorite quote.
Fill out the accompanying rating form and drop it in this box or return it to the circulation desk at the Fairfield Woods Branch Library to be entered into a raffle to win a bag full of donated books.
Both libraries will choose a winner on July 14, July 28, and August 14.
Good luck and happy reading!
