Library Resources

We have many resources, especially for parents. Check these out!

Parenting Programs – These special events feature experts in child development, education, and more. Speakers help take some of the mystery out of parenting and address the issues you are tackling today. Topics have included Birds and the Bees, Facebook for Parents, Nag No More, Kids and Bullying and more. Search our events calendar for upcoming programs.

Museum Passes – the library is pleased to loan out special passes to area museums like the Beardsley Zoo, Discovery Museum, and many others. Share the fun of these museums without all the cost.

Kiwanis Parent-Teacher Room – Whether you are potty training or trying to connect with your middle schooler there’s something here for you in this great collection of magazines, books, and media. This cozy alcove is dedicated to our special resources for parents and educators. The materials found here support parenting, teaching and raising children from infancy through teen years.

Read Aloud Book-Lists – Need a book to read aloud in your child’s classroom or for sharing at home?  We have some great suggestions here.
