Are you interested in sewing and knitting, printing, traditional crafts and the new DIY (do it yourself), as well as vintage-inspired design, and all things handmade. Then join us at the SALON. We’ll dive in to different types of unique crafts and whet our curiosity a little. The library will provide the colorful papers, fabrics and other embellishments, we may need, as well as great books from our collection you can check out and pursue further. You’ll be inspired by our sessions and tap into the curious crafter in us all.

October 5: Tin Lanterns - Kick-off event! Make fabulous tin lanterns for the last days of fall patio, garden or porch time.
November 2: Learn to Knit with Beads - If you can cast on, knit and bind off you’re on the way to making a beautiful wrap bracelet with beads and yarn.
December 7: Holiday Paper Projects - Create cards, tags, kirigami and gift bags for the holidays.
January 4: Learn Basic Hand Sewing Skills - the American Sewing Guild, back by popular demand, will give tips on clothing repairs, hems, etc. After that, stay to make a Mason jar sewing kit with a pincushion top.
