Summer Reading 2014

Summer Reading is well underway! Fairfield Public Library’s Read. Game. Win! has brought the community into the library to play games, read books and have a great time. With something to do every day of the week, FPL has been busy giving out book recommendations, hosting programs for all ages and handing out reading prizes!

Fairfield’s students in grades K-5 have read a combined total of 440,660 minutes so far! And the summer is not even over yet!

I’m a Boston girl through and through! I love steampunk… in fact, I had a steampunk wedding. I love Victorian Gothic novels and am currently writing a middle grade novel titled Claudette and the Bibliotheque! I have an MA in Children's Literature and an MS in Library Science from Simmons College in Boston. I do not read anything but books for children and young adults. Ever.
