Care for Books! by Cindyb

From  Book Week Online:
This “Care for Books” bookmark by Hardie Gramatky, was available for purchase from the Children’s Book Council for nearly 30 years, but it fell out of print in 2004. With the permission of the CBC, the Gramatky family, and G.P. Putnam’s sons, it has become available to libraries on an as-needed basis.

Hardie Gramatky is the illustrator of the classic children’s book, Little Toot, which has been in print since 1939. It is now available in a Restored Classic edition, which was created by using archived first editions, original paintings, and several full-color manuscript sketches. He lived for many years in Westport, CT.

I’m a Boston girl through and through! I love steampunk… in fact, I had a steampunk wedding. I love Victorian Gothic novels and am currently writing a middle grade novel titled Claudette and the Bibliotheque! I have an MA in Children's Literature and an MS in Library Science from Simmons College in Boston. I do not read anything but books for children and young adults. Ever.
