Tomorrow: We begin!

High Res Cover AHITS

Hello Fairfield Readers:

We hope that you have been able to obtain a copy of this year’s One Book One Town selection, A House in the Sky by Amanda Lindhout and Sara Corbett, at your library or the Fairfield University Bookstore. The signature event on Wednesday, March 26th at the Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts was fully booked only 9 days after registration began…although we do encourage that you sign up for the waiting list as there are always last-minute cancellations.

Tomorrow will see our first One Book One Town event for 2014, Talking About Books with the esteemed Dr. Mark Schenker, the Associate Dean of Yale College and Dean of Academic Affairs. If you haven’t seen Dr. Schenker speak before, we don’t know what you are waiting for! These sessions are enlightening and lively – truly they merit ‘can’t-miss’ status! Register now.

Next up: A screening of the award-winning film Captain Phillips…

Have a great ‘OBOT’ season, everybody!
